Sand & Gravels

For building, construction and civil engineering purposes, we list below the most common materials we have available.

Type 1 Sub-base
40mm down, graded limestone for the construction of roads to be adopted by the Local Authority Highways Department.

Type 2 Sub-base
40mm down, graded material to a wider grading specification for roads and over sites that are not being adopted by the council.

Scalpings
A good limestone alternative to Type 1 used for the bases of footpaths, roads and for general "fill" requirements.

Crusher Run
This is used to make up poor ground and deep fill jobs and then "topped off" with scalpings.  Sizes are usually 100mm or 75mm.

Clean Stone
Various sizes and rock types, but generally used for land drainage or for making concrete products.

Reclaimed / Re-cycled Materials
We can supply crushed hardcore from re-cycled waste, also road planings and blinding grit.

Sands
All types of sands for all purposes, i.e. mortars, screeding, plastering, rendering, blinding, equestrian, long jump pits and many more.
